I have not traveled to the location in Cross Hills, but I did enjoy the virtual museum page. It all started when my wife was curious why carrots purchased in the local farmer's market seemed to stay fresh longer when purchased unwashed and coated in the local soil. She is an odd woman, but I am legally bound to her, and the tenets of marriage make her carrot struggle my own. The carrot discussion led to considerable family debate about possible mechanisms, some ridicule on random message boards and, ultimately, a visit to the exceptionally informative World Carrot Museum. We learned a lot about various storage methods and came to the conclusion the clay and sand in the soil might be helping the carrots stay hydrated and fresh, perhaps like sand or soil storage. This page has staved off the specter of divorce over what we now lovingly call "the great carrot debate of 2018; Carrotpocalypse". I also learned a lot about carrots. More than I probably need to know, but I always enjoyed carrots, so knowing more isn't a bad thing. Great webpage filled with interesting facts and cool pictures! The carrot guitar and Carrot Museum Christmas photos were especially delightful. Greetings from Switzerland!

Amazing Discovery! My world is now complete!
