Simple hotel, great room although i was in an attic room so there waa not a lot of head room, lovely breakfast, definitely worth a stay
My partner and I and our dog really enjoyed our night at Dalesgate hotel. Stephen was very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The room was very clean and spacious and very quiet despite of being near the road. Bed linen and towels were very clean, I loved the fact of having high quality branded shower gel provided (Dove), which you will not find at other hotels. Stephen really cares about his customers. We had an excellent breakfast as well. There's a large off-road car park round the back and a big rugby field very near if you are taking your dog. Next time we go to visit the area we will definitely stay again!
Dated small beds and mattresses need to be more comfortable but it is clean and good breakfast and service

We had just one night it was lovely, clean, tidy, comfortable. And staff very friendly. Could do with up dating a little but very clean. I would not heasitate to stay again. Also had gluten free
